A one day workshop that includes some deaf awareness and communication training, together with basic sign language.
The course will cover various aspects including:

• Causes and types of deafness
• Aspects of communication
• Tips for good communication
• An overview of lipreading
• Signs for families and the workplace
• Signs for numbers and dates
• Games and interactive quiz

Suitable for participants aged 16 and over.
